Mohani Festival

Celebrated primarily by the Newar community in Bhaktapur, analogous to the larger Dashain festival. This two-week celebration marks the onset of the festive season, beginning with the planting of barley seeds (Jamara) and culminating in family gatherings, feasts, and rituals honouring the Nava Durga deity.
